Amazing COMMUNITY. Gorgeous campus. Luxurious amenities. Casitas with full garages. No maintenance. Also has the best restruants in the area. Best of all, the people are all friendly! Can't speak highly enough about The Colonnade. Plus, you get full access to The Grand membership, which is just the cherry on top.
I enjoy life at the Colonnade in Surprise Arizona! The independent living is wonderful. There are lectures, outings, special holiday parties and a complete array of sporting areas all around the condo style buildings. Come out and take a look. It’s a great way to live safely and comfortably !.
My husband Pat Dillon, & I moved to The Colonnade over 10 yrs. ago after realizing we could no longer manage our home. Be very careful before you sign up for a Life Care Plan at the Colonnade or any other Sun Health community. After five years there is no refund of any of your upfront payment. And, if they decide their facilities cannot accommodate you because of advanced dementia behaviors, you will have to find another place to live, as their memory care is limited. Be careful when signing up your loved ones to be looked after by one of the sun health communities. The promises are high but fall very short in all areas. Nurses let the seniors wander and don't attend to them. Being Short staff is not an excuse! And their Nutrition needs are hardly met. They need more than sandwiches and hotdogs, especially if in the assisted living area.
